Noli Zosa Outraises Every Council Candidate in the City of San Diego

Zosa’s $117,755 Haul Surpasses Even the Council President in Dollars Raised

(San Diego, CA) – Campaign finance records confirm that Noli Zosa has raised more than all 20 candidates for City Council in San Diego – surpassing even Council President Georgette Gomez. Zosa raised $117,755 from more than 350 contributors during the fundraising period that ended on June 30th. Nearly 90% of Zosa’s donors are from the San Diego region. Zosa is running for San Diego City Council in District 7 and launched his campaign in March.

Zosa is fighting hard and has also diligently engaged in an aggressive door to door campaign throughout the summer.

“I’m working hard and burning the candle from both ends. I'm proud of all the support from local community members and donors who chipped in and helped make me the leading candidate in dollars raised for all council candidates in the entire City of San Diego,” noted Zosa. “I also plan on being the candidate who walks the most houses and makes the most phone calls to voters. I won't take anything for granted. My entire team and I will work hard for every single vote.”

Noli, the son of immigrants, obtained both his undergraduate and law school degrees from the University of San Diego. After graduation, he joined his family's business where he managed a boutique bed and breakfast, wedding facility, and guava tree ranch. In 2008, he became a founding partner of the local restaurant chain Dirty Birds. Noli has helped expand his company to three locations with two additional planned expansions in the next year. Dirty Birds currently employs over a hundred people, with plans to nearly double that number in the upcoming year.
