(San Diego, CA) - Noli Zosa announced that his campaign will report over $113,000 in total contributions received in the fundraising period that ended on June 30th. Zosa is running for San Diego City Council in District 7 and began his campaign in March. He's averaged raising more than $25,000 per month and had 345 total contributions. The amount does not include any personal loans.

"I'm deeply grateful for the outpouring of support my campaign has received in the first few months," said Zosa. "We have a long way to go, but I'm committed to working hard and keeping this momentum going."

Noli, the son of immigrants, obtained both his undergraduate and law school degrees from the University of San Diego. After graduation, he joined his family's business where he managed a boutique bed and breakfast, wedding facility, and guava tree ranch. In 2008, he became a founding partner of the local restaurant chain Dirty Birds. Noli has helped expand his company to three locations with two additional planned expansions in the next year. Dirty Birds currently employs over a hundred people, with plans to double that number in the upcoming year.
