Noli Zosa Endorsed by the California Restaurant Association
(San Diego, CA) – Noli Zosa has been endorsed by the California Restaurant Association. The CRA is an organization that advocates on behalf of restaurants and provides advanced education, networking, and business-building tools to restaurateurs.
"Small businesses, specifically restaurants, are the backbone of our community," said Chris Duggan, Director of Local Government Affairs. "Noli knows firsthand how hard it is to operate in the food industry and to navigate the complex regulations. His voice on the City Council will be invaluable not only to restaurants, but to small businesses as a whole. The CRA is confident he is the best candidate in this race."
"Having the support of the operators of thousands of restaurants in San Diego means a lot to my campaign," noted Zosa. "These small businesses are a critical component of our local economy and provide good paying jobs to tens of thousands of San Diegans.”
Noli, the son of immigrants, obtained both his undergraduate and law school degrees from the University of San Diego. After graduation, he joined his family's business where he managed a boutique bed and breakfast, wedding facility, and guava tree ranch. In 2008, he became a founding partner of the local restaurant chain Dirty Birds. Noli has helped expand his company to three locations with two additional planned expansions in the next year. Dirty Birds currently employs over a hundred people, with plans to double that number in the upcoming year.
