Noli Zosa Endorsed by County Supervisor Dianne Jacob and Supervisor Jim Desmond
(San Diego, CA) – Noli Zosa, candidate for City Council District 7, has been endorsed by County Supervisors Dianne Jacob and Jim Desmond.
"Noli has been a tireless advocate for his community, demonstrating his commitment to improving the quality of life for his District and San Diegans," said Board Chair Jacob. "I am confident that he is the right choice in this race and he has my full support."
"We need more elected leaders who understand what it takes to run a small business and create jobs, and Noli is that person," added Desmond. "His experience in the private sector will be a valuable asset on the City Council."
"I'm honored to have the support of both Chairwoman Jacob and Supervisor Desmond," noted Zosa. "They both have long, successful track records of serving their communities and doing what is right for the residents of our county."
Noli, the son of immigrants, obtained both his undergraduate and law school degrees from the University of San Diego. After graduation, he joined his family's business where he managed a boutique bed and breakfast, wedding facility, and guava tree ranch. In 2008, he became a founding partner of the local restaurant chain Dirty Birds. Noli has helped expand his company to three locations with two additional planned expansions in the next year. Dirty Birds currently employs over a hundred people, with plans to double that number in the upcoming year.
